Because on clifford objects complex conjugation works as hermitian conjugation. ncmul is the only class that can take care of swapping the sequence around as in (ncmul(gamma~mu,gamma~nu))^dagger = ncmul((gamma~nu)^dagger,(gamma~mu)^dagger).
