   4 GiNaC (which stands for "GiNaC is not a computer algebra system) is a
   5 C++ library for symbolic mathematical calculations. It is designed to
   6 allow the creation of integrated systems that embed symbolic manipulations
   7 together with more established areas of computer science (like computation-
   8 intense numeric applications, graphical interfaces, etc.) under one roof.
